Tŷ Afon, a boutique guesthouse and wedding venue, has been awarded a £28,754.26 Transform Grant to support essential upgrades that will enable the business to grow and operate efficiently all-year-round.

The venue’s existing boiler and hot water system were outdated, restricting operations and limiting its ability to welcome guests throughout all seasons. Without this critical investment, Tŷ Afon’s plans for growth would have stalled. The grant funding allows the installation of a new, modern heating system, ensuring a comfortable and seamless guest experience while reducing operational costs.

Additionally, the grant supports the installation of new hardwood flooring and banquette seating. By improving efficiency and guest experience, these upgrades will drive growth, create new local employment opportunities, and build long-term resilience against economic and political changes.
