Publication Scheme
The Publication Scheme is a document which sets out the information that we as a public authority publish or intend to publish. The preparation of a Publication Scheme is a requirement under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The information is classified into "classes of information". This is not a list of the publications themselves, as they will change over time as a new publications come into existence or existing publications are revised. Instead, it is the authority’s commitment to ensuring that the information described is available.
The scheme should set out the classes or categories of published information, explain how this information may be obtained and whether or not a charge will be made.
