Can I buy a parking ticket for 3, 6 or 9 months?
It is only possible to purchase a 12 month or a 6 month parking ticket. Annual and six months parking tickets are valid from the issue date.
Are there any concessions for students / unemployed people / pensioners?
No. However, if you are over 60 years old you can also park for up to 2 hours in any of Gwynedd’s short stay car parks.
Where can I park with the parking ticket?
You can park in the Council's Long Stay Car Parks listed in the Terms and Conditions.
I am over 60 years old. Where can I park with the parking ticket?
If you are over 60 years old, you can also park for free for up to 2 hours at any of the Council’s short stay car parks within any 24 hour period. A list of the valid car parks can be found in the terms and conditions – Gwynedd parking ticket. A clock disc will be provided. You must follow the instructions on the disc and display it with your annual ticket.
I own a Gwynedd parking ticket, and I’ve just had my 60th birthday. Can I change the details on the ticket to allow me to park at the Council’s short stay car parks?
No. You must be 60+ on the day you purchase the ticket to be eligible to park at the short stay car parks. It not possible to change your details during the period that the ticket is valid.
When will I receive my Gwynedd parking ticket?
You should receive your ticket within 5 working days.
Can I buy more than one Gwynedd Parking Ticket?
Yes. There is no limit on how many parking tickets you can buy. However, you can only order one type of ticket per transaction - either 6 months or 12 months.
I no longer need my annual parking ticket. Can I get a refund?
No. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.
