Allotments Grant

Allotment Capital Grant

We are inviting applications for grant funding towards allotment and community garden schemes that fulfill one or more of the following

  • Creation of new allotment(s)
  • Bring old allotments back into use
  • Improve access to allotments
  • Improve facilities and services on allotments
  • Improve security of allotment site
  • Improve allotment recycling
  • Improve biodiversity on allotments
  • Allotment promotion and awareness raising.

Eligible expenditure may include the following (but this is not an exhaustive list): 

  • Capital - building materials / fences / gates / signs
  • Capital - large equipment such as sheds, greenhouse, polytunnels, stores, water collector
  • Capital - land preparation and landscaping costs
  • Capital – I.T. equipment to manage, promote allotments

 

Available Grant

Applications for small projects are invited for the remainder of the grant for 2023/2024 - to be spent by the end of March 2024. Applications are also invited for projects for the grant for 2024/2025.


How to apply

Applications are invited from community groups, charities, community and town councils, and voluntary organisations.
