Seasonal Beach Parking Morfa Bychan (Black Rock Sands) and Machroes
Morfa Bychan
Vehicles can access the beach foreshore at Morfa Bychan. A fee is payable between 1 April and 30 September. There is an option to buy a daily ticket or a season permit.

Seasonal permits can only be purchased online:
- Permanent Porthmadog ward residents- Car: £25 / Large vehicle: £50
- Permanent Gwynedd residents- Car: £60 / Large vehicle: £120
- Non-Gwynedd residents- Car: £80 / Large vehicle: £160
It is not possible to purchase a seasonal ticket at the moment.
You can purchase a ticket for the next season from 1 April 2025 onwards.
