Terms and Conditions - Visitors' Parking Permit
The Visitor Parking Permit applicant must live at one of the addresses listed on
Residents' Parking Permit
To confirm that the Visitor Parking Permit applicant lives at the address we will be checking the details provided against the full electoral register. We may ask for further evidence if the name / address provided does not match the information held by us.
The Visitor Parking Permits are sold in books of 10.
It is possible to purchase 5 books at a time.
Each visitor’s permit will only be valid for 24 hours.
The permit is only valid if completed correctly.
The permit must be displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle, making sure that all the information is visible from the outside. Failure to display is an offence and you may be liable for a Penalty Charge Notice.
The permit only allows you to park your vehicle within the area stated on the permit and all vehicles must be parked parallel to the kerb.
The permit does not guarantee the holder a parking space or unrestricted right to a parking space.
The vehicle should not exceed 5.25m in length. A parking dispensation is required to park a larger vehicle within the restricted area.
The Council is not liable for the theft or damage to any vehicle in a parking place, or the contents or fittings of any such vehicle.
The use of parking places may be suspended by police officers or duly authorised Council officers.
Any false or incorrect information may invalidate the Visitor’s Parking Permit.
In line with the Distance Selling Regulations, you have seven working days from receipt of these Terms and Conditions to cancel your order. You must return your parking ticket before a refund will be offered. After seven working days, no refunds will be given
